We've paired 2 bottles of Vintage Port each 750ml - a 1997 Grahams Port with a 1997 Dows as a great way to wind down after your own Thanksgiving celebrations! They are a gift of long time Umoja supporter, Charlotte Galloway and have been consistently cellared since purchase.

The W&J Graham's 1997 Vintage Porto has an intense colour with a deep, purple rim. On the nose shows a luscious ripeness with attractive floral aromas and undertones of black cherry. On the palate, a typically Graham's full-bodied structure, packed with layers and layers of fruit (plum and blackberries) and firm tannins. The very long, accomplished finish indicates a great Vintage for long-term ageing. Ready to drink!

The Dow's 20 year old Tawny Porto is bottled and ready to drink after aging for 20 years in oak casks.  Produced in the Porto DOC region of Portugal.  It has a polished brown center with orange-amber edges. This port has depth and layers of dried fruit on the palate which shows figs, chocolate and caramel undertones.  Full-bodied and very sweet with firm and lightly chewy tannins and a wild finish pairs well with nuts, dried fruits, fruitcake, vanilla ice cream, or crème brulee.
