Artist: Robert H Fifield, 1922 – 2005. b. Lenox, SD. d. Rochester MN

 

Known for Impressionist, modern abstract watercolor painting, and photography, Robert “Bob” Fifeld was also a fine teacher. Attended U of SD and Ravonich School of Photography, NYC. Served in the Signal Corps in WWII. He and his wife, Helen, opened a Photography and Fine Arts Studio in Lanesboro, MN. He painted in acrylics and oils as well as watercolors.
